`0' Park
Mile `0' Park is located at Mile 1 of the Alaska Highway. Located in this park are Walter
Wright Pioneer Village, Rotary Lake, Sudeten Hall, and the fabulous horticultural
floral displays of "Gardens North". Mile 0 Campground, one of Dawson Creek's four
campgrounds is also located in the park complex.

Pioneer Village depicts Dawson Creek
before the Alaska Highway construction
period. It will transport you to the time
when our community was on the edge of
the frontier. Group tours are available upon
request (reservations are recommended).
Pioneer Village also offers complete Visitor
Centre information and travel services and
a unique gift shop, AND you can relax on a
park bench and log your laptop on to the
internet with another DC Wireless hotspot.

Gardens North
First impressions are everything! Enhancing
the entrance of the Walter Wright Pioneer
Village is one of eleven spectacular themed
gardens that make up "Gardens North".
Developed for the village by the Dawson
Creek and District Horticultural Society,
these gardens and the impressive memorial
rose garden are just some of our City's great
photo opportunities.
