Twilight
Performance
The
2006 Dawson Creek Air Show promises to be an evening
of excitement. On July 26, 2006 Dawson Creek will
be host to several internationally renowned aerobatic
acts with Canada 's own Snowbirds
as the feature act.
While
every Third Strike
Act has two distinct maneuvers; a take off and a landing.
It's what comes between them that will impress you.
Carol Pilon is presently the only wingwalker
in Canada performing on the North American air show
circuit where she has the privilege to awe senses,
captivate hearts, enthrall imaginations and inspire
dreams
.
See
Ken Fowler
and his Harmon
Rocket! The aircraft's empty weight is only 1146
lbs, which gives it excellent high-speed aerobatic
performance and awesome vertical performance. This
Harmon Rocket will outperform all such aircraft going
vertical. This is the only Harmon Rocket on the air
show circuit and not to be missed!
You
will be entertained by Kent
Pietsch in his 1942 Interstate Cadet and flies
a comedy act, which includes extreme maneuvers, such
as the aileron falling off in mid air, a dead stick
(total power off) aerobatic routine from an altitude
of 6,000 feet. The finale of this performance includes
Kent landing in front of the crowd and placing the
spinner into the hand of an individual! Kent has thrilled
and entertained crowds with this unique act.
