First in the Peace
Chetwynd is the natural transportation hub of the
Peace River area making it a worthwhile destination
for visitors and residents alike. The four seasons
combined with virgin forests, rolling hills, snow-
capped mountains, undulating fields and crystal
clear lakes and rivers make Chetwynd a playground
for the nature lover and outdoor
enthusiast. Good schools,
playgrounds and sport fields make it
a terrific place to live and raise your
family. All this has earned Chetwynd
the title of
Most Livable Small
Community (under 25,000) in B.C.*
