About

The Dawson Creek Visitor Information Centre has been serving the public since 1983 from the historic train station in N.A.R. Park. The visitor information centre features a full gift shop with a range of souvenirs and brochures and is also connected to the South Peace Historical Society Museum. The stopover at the beginning of the Alaska Highway means the visitor centre sees guests coming and going from all different areas. Their trained and knowledgeable tourism ambassadors are available to answer any and all questions you may have as well as provide a variety of activities and must-see destinations in Dawson Creek and the surrounding area.

Tourism Dawson Creek was established (2001) in response to local operators and business leaders wanting to further develop and diversify the tourism industry in Dawson Creek. Tourism Dawson Creek is the recognized Destination Management Organization (DMO) responsible for the marketing and promotion of Dawson Creek.  Tourism Dawson Creek also operates the Visitor Centre (VC).
