Our new space puts us right in the heart of downtown, making it easier than ever to connect with visitors, locals, and nearby businesses. It’s a great spot to stop in, ask questions, and get inspired to explore.

We’re Going Mobile This Summer

Starting in late May, you’ll also find us out and about! Our mobile Visitor Centre (in our boler trailer) will be set up mainly at the Alaska Highway Cairn in NAR Park, with staff on-site throughout the summer.

We’re also planning to be at some of Dawson Creek’s biggest events, including:

  • Mile 0 Cruisers Show & Shine (July)

  • Dawson Creek Exhibition (August)

2025 Para Cup

Para Cup wins Sport Tourism Canada’s International Sport Event of the Year (Group B- Budget under 2 Million). Watch the Nomination Video here.

The Para Cup was a tremendous success, showcasing the Peace Region on an international stage and drawing record ticket sales through a strong regional marketing campaign. The event generated an estimated $420,000 in economic impact in Dawson Creek alone, bringing significant benefits to local businesses, tourism, and community visibility. Beyond the immediate financial return, the tournament created a lasting legacy by growing awareness of para hockey, strengthening regional partnerships, and inspiring future sport hosting opportunities in the north.
