May Newsletter: Tourism Dawson Creek Celebrates Grand Opening at Downtown Location
Now Servicing Two Locations
This summer, Tourism Dawson Creek is expanding it’s operations to service visitors at two locations: downtown next to the Mile 0 Post and at the Alaska Highway Cairn in the NAR Park.
You will see our Tourism Ambassadors on location at the NAR Park welcoming visitors, snapping photos, and encouraging downtown and community visitation.
The Mile 0 Heritage Tour
With an emphasis on having visitors explore Dawson Creek, Tourism launches the Mile 0 Heritage Tour. This one-day history and culture itinerary includes exploring the NAR Park, downtown and the Pioneer Village. Explore local and regional tours by visiting our website.
Northeast BC Summer Marketing Campaign Launches - Linger Longer

Remaining anchored in the “Big Five”, but with an added focus on continuing to build awareness, "Linger Longer" encourages longer stays and emphasizes that the region has "so much to do" beyond the core offerings. For example, Mile 0 isn’t just Mile 0. It’s arts and culture, food & breweries, events and festivals, hiking & biking, trestle bridges, pioneer villages, small towns, etc.
