Art Facilities & Organizations

Dawson Creek is home to a dynamic network of art facilities and organizations that foster creativity and community connection.

Calvin Kruk Centre for the Arts

The Calvin Kruk Centre for the Arts serves as a creative hub, housing the Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre, a local cafe', and artist guilds - it's where live music, theatre, dance, and cultural events bring the stage to life year-round.

Dawson Creek Art Gallery

The Dawson Creek Art Gallery, located in a beautifully repurposed grain elevator, features rotating exhibitions of visual art from across the region and beyond. The Dawson Creek Art Gallery is operated by the South Peace Art Society.

Supporting Organizations

Supporting this vibrant arts scene are dedicated non-profits such as the Dawson Creek Arts and Wellness Society, the Peace Liard Regional Arts Council and the South Peace Community Arts Council - all working to promote arts and culture throughout the Peace Region. Together, these organizations ensure that Dawson Creek remains a thriving centre for artistic expression in Northern BC.
